Why have a team leader?
In many ways, a team of professional interpreters can be likened to a little orchestra in the way it goes about its work.
Though each interpreter on the team brings to it his own skills and specialisations, proper communication during the conference can be ensured only if the team as a whole is able to work in harmony.
This is where the team leader comes in.
Serving as the interface between the conference organiser and the interpreting service, he/she makes sure nothing untoward happens that might disrupt the discussions.
In most cases, in fact, your team leader will be one of Conference interpreters international’s associates.
Orchestra conductor, guardian angel, or both, at Cii we always give the team leader’s name and contact details in your contract, so that you can enjoy peace of mind and are free to concentrate on the success of your event.
